bits + pieces

Sunday & Monday.

Their first demolition derby. I guess it was sunny or something. ;)

It's too good. Presley caught mid-sneeze.

My idiotic, bear-sized Labrador turns into a total champ when he gets in the river.

Raising babies on the Yellowstone. It could be worse.

Look. At. Him.

Tyson called in sick. I had a sinus infection. So we went on a two mile hike with a 3 month old & a preschooler. Presley was a day camp.

He's a trooper. A moderate, rocky hike & hardly a single complaint from him. He just wanted to sit down occasionally.

The top half of Pine Creek Falls.

& the bottom half.

Moments before I fell in.

Still hurts. Worth it.

Is there a better papa? No, there's not. A storm was passing over us & the thunder got a little crazy so Tyson carried Mase for the last few minutes of the hike to our car.

Our weekend, in pictures.

Because I know you care lots.

Friday night at the Park County Fair.

I need her.

Petting sheep.

Checking out the little alligator. Presley is so protective of Mason.

Diamondback.

Corn snake.

& a dead prairie rattlesnake that we ran into on our evening walk. Not okay.

Jesus or Santa or something.

Saturday in Bozeman. We met up with friends for the Sweet Pea Festival parade & lunch.

Tyson, Arlo, & Brent.

Coolest float. They were all holding their high school yearbook photos.

Oh this husband of mine.

Unicorns. They do exist.

Perfect day.

I admit, I think graffiti is pretty neat.

We didn't realize how far away we parked from our parade-viewing spot. 1 mile there, 1 mile back.

After the parade & lunch we drove to the prettiest canyon I've ever seen, Hyalite Canyon. We hiked to one of the gazillion waterfalls up here, Grotto Falls.

Stone-cold fox of a husband & the most handsome little 3 month old.

I just really like him.

Grotto Falls.

Skipping rocks & dipping toes.

He'll throw rocks in water all day.

Thinking about it.

Butterflies everywhere.

We took a stroller so I can't really call it hiking.

Wildflowers all over.

Hyalite Reservoir.

"Mountain" in Spanish.

He thought it was okay.

My adventurers.

Best day.
