Bits + Pieces

Angel baby.

Bowling while Mama had a Cub Scout meeting.

We started "wind down time". The same time every night we listen to music, read, & chat as a family. It's my favorite.

You'll find him doing this everywhere.

Helping Presley carry firewood...in his underwear.

Hanging downtown.

Dad life.

Trying to be like big brother. His NASA jacket has a flag like Presley's Scout uniform. So we put Presley's old neckerchief & slide on. He wore it all day & it was adorable.

The hair.

Caught them napping together.

Fall food. Homemade chili, homemade rolls, & my grandma's applesauce cookies.

So lucky to have the prettiest town park.

Love notes from Tyson. I did good.

Post Scout meeting walk to the lagoon.
Look. At. This. Face.
Prettiest eyes on this boy.
Montana.
Watching the big boys make popcorn & wash dishes.
Wandering around town.
Coffee & cocoa on a Friday morning.
Posing in front of our chalkboard wall.
Costco pizza & army helmets. Typical Friday night.

At the park

Sunday afternoon we stopped by a few thrift stores, then headed to the park. We walked around the lagoon, fed ducks, & sat by the river. The weather was perfect, Fall was & is in the air. The only thing missing was Presley, who chose to stay with his friends.

Sacajawea Lagoon.

Getting ready to feed the duckies.

Fairy Lake

Over the weekend we went to one of my very favorite places, Fairy Lake. It's a breathtaking lake & dormant volcano up Bridger Canyon so it's pretty close to home. The drive is a bit rough but the trusty subaru gets us there. You can walk around the entire thing in less than an hour so it's perfect for our littles.

We had a little picnic, caught tadpoles & frogs, & skipped rocks. It's a little too cold to swim in during September but there is a rope swing that the boys went on last summer. The lake is surrounded by moss-covered forest so the trail is nice to wander around.

Pines, peaks, & blue skies that go on forever.
