After posting a million pictures each week of our day-to-day I've realized that I never really mention what each of us are up to overall. Let me fill you in.
Tyson is Super-Papa. He works M-F at PFL & is working his way toward a promotion. He goes to open court with Pres every week to play ball. He's anxiously waiting to have a garage/workbench again so he can work on the long list of land cruiser & home projects he has. I'm pretty damn proud of him.
Presley is doing well in school & just finished his first basketball season. He wants to try baseball this spring. He's an amazing brother & he likes to make sure he looks stylish. ;) When we move, he'll have two of his friends living right around the corner from us. It's gonna be a nice change for him.
Mason is learning lots everyday. We were a little worried about his speech delay but he has improved so much over the last few months. He knows most of the alphabet, can count to 13, identify shapes & colors, & can almost spell out all of his name. He's gonna start preschool this fall.
As for me, I'm very pregnant. I'm 28 weeks & nesting like crazy. While Tyson is at work & Presley is at school, Mason keeps me busy. I pack & clean every chance I get, but I've been overworking myself so I feel contractions a couple times a day. Whoops.
We close on our home in THREE DAYS. It's all we can talk/think about. We've outgrown this shoebox house & will now have a home that is twice its size. Currently we live in a tiny 2 bed, 1 bath with a den & side yard. I've loved living so close to downtown but we get a lot of traffic & have zero front yard. Our new home is the perfect starter home for us. It's 3 bed, 2 bath with a yard & big family/bonus room. It's been well cared for by the current owners & it is light & charming. Tyson will have a workbench & I'll have a craft area. We're making plans for a small garden & some chickens. The neighborhood is family friendly with spectacular views of Livingston Peak & Paradise Valley. The sellers closed last friday & are moved out, but they are spending some time this week to clean. They know I'm pregnant & wanted to help me out. The wife is Presley's math teacher & she told Pres that she hopes we love it. Counting down the days, hours, & minutes...
& here are some pictures of people I adore.

Project Day.
A couple of weekends back we were feeling a bit ambitious so we had a project day. I refinished a lovely vintage dresser & the boys built some adirondack chairs. We took a break for Presley's basketball game & dinner, then went home to finish up.
The boys built one big chair & one small. They'll have to finish up when we have another nice weekend.
The dresser is now white & chalkboard green. It's new home is in the big boys bedroom.

Valentine's Day.
Last week the boys made cards for their grandmas & I bought a few treats for Tyson & the boys.
On Tuesday Tyson & I went on our date & we exchanged cards on Wednesday. To be honest, I'm a bit spoiled...Tyson brings me flowers at least every other week. In addition to getting a fresh bouquet this week, he wrote me a sweet letter & gave me the Love Tree print for our new bedroom.
On Wednesday we worked on Valentines cards for Presley's class & for Tyson.
The morning of, the boys had pancakes & pink milk for breakfast. While Presley & Tyson were at work & school Mason & I finished decorating, baked cupcakes, & put together our little gifts. The rest of our evening was low-key. Presley went to practice while I prepared dinner. When everyone was home we exchanged gifts, ate dinner, & had dessert. The boys went off to bed & Tyson & I spent the rest of the evening together.

Exploring & football.
A few weeks ago we were doing something for a friend which required us driving to Gardiner, so we made an afternoon of it.
Gardiner is less than an hour away & the cute, little town is the north entrance to Yellowstone. We drove all around it & stopped by the Roosevelt Arch.
On our way back to Livingston we made a couple of stops in Paradise Valley. We hung out by the river for a few minutes but it was too damn windy to stay any longer. Then we drove up to Big Creek to explore & check out camping spots. It was incredibly peaceful & much warmer than the valley. Can't wait to go back.
We usually keep track of the wildlife we see while we're out. That day we saw moose, deer, antelope, & a bald eagle.
When we made it home we loaded the coffee table up with junk food & watched the Super Bowl. Good day.
