Is This Real Life?

I just really love being a wife and mother.

Tonight we:

-Watched A Goofy Movie & Little Rascals(personal favorites from MY childhood).
-Made homemade pizza.
-Tried a new chocolate chip cookie recipe.
-Lit a few fireworks.
-Tyson & I enjoyed a few Coronas.

Here's our night, in pictures.

Mini Project.

I got a little bored today so I painted Presley and Mason's doors with chalkboard paint. :)

Summer Lovin'.

Sunday Funday!

Today we had a picnic at Big Springs Park with Sean and Sarah.

After our picnic we drove through the Alpine Loop. One of my favorite drives. We hiked up a little trail and then stopped by the Tibble Fork Reservoir.

Windows down. Music turned wayyyy up. Sun on our faces. LIFE IS GOOD.

Sunday Funday.

Sunday night was spent at my aunt's house. We always have a great time at her house but this time was extra special. Here's why: It was Fathers Day and family was visiting from out of state. :)

I played Apples to Apples with all of the girl cousins, my aunt and my brother, we ate yummy dinner, took LOTS of pictures and then said goodbye to our relatives.

My Tia Rosie also surprised my grandma with a poster-sized photo of her from when she was 15!

I had never seen this photo before yesterday. How amazing is it?!

Here are a few more pics of my grandparents.

And my personal favorite...

How badass/handsome is my grandfather? This is him when he was 20.
"More manly than I'll ever be...times 5." ~Tyson's reaction to this photo.

Oh, and on our drive home we saw the prettiest sunset EVER. This picture does not do it justice. Not even close.

Tyson.

Presley, Mason and I are so lucky to have Tyson in our lives. He truly is an amazing husband, father and man.

The boys and I put together a poster for Tyson. It included coupons for hugs and kisses, and Presley wrote down everything that Tyson does as a father. He had a hard time fighting back tears, so I guess he enjoyed our little gifts. =)

Celebrating The Newlyweds.

Sean and Sarah got married in Washington D.C. last month. It was a little too far for most of our family to travel but luckily, they decided to have an open house in Utah as well. :)

I was overwhelmed with the amount of people that showed up! Those two are just so loved.

Sarah's father, Ralph, made a beautiful wedding video for the occasion. I cried through most of it, especially when pictures of my parents came on. I know we all really appreciated the effort and love that was put into the making of that video.

My beautiful aunts and I.

My gorgeous niece, Noelani, brother-in-law, Jerome, and my boys.

The Beginning Of Our Garden.

We've been talking about gardening for a while and we're finally getting started!

Tyson is building our gardening beds from scratch...and he's doing an amazing job!

I'm working on our starter pots and labels for the garden. I'm using chalkboard paint on everything so we know what we're growing and we can re-use the labels when we grow new things.

As always, more pics to come. :)

Provo Farmers Market.

I went to my first farmers market today! It was so much fun and I enjoyed spending time with my mother-in-law, brother-in-law, his girlfriend and my baby boys. Tyson had to miss out because he had to work, but hopefully we'll ALL be able to go again soon.

I really loved all of the hand-crafted jewelry they had there.

We purchased cute bracelets made out of bone, earrings and matching flower for my hair, a tomato plant and a little gift for Tyson.

We also enjoyed lots of yummy food! Including street tacos at 10 am. :)

Mi Familia.

I am convinced that I was born into the world's greatest family. They are all so sweet, kind, loving, warm... I could go on and on. They are everything a family should be.

Visiting from Texas we have:

Grandma and Grandpa Robles
My Tia(aunt) Rosie and cousins, Lani & Eliza

Visiting from Hawaii we have:

My brother-in-law Jerome and my niece Noelani.
