high elevation + candy stores.

I don't have much of a bucket list, but if I did, the Beartooth Highway would be on it. A couple weeks ago we decided to finally see what the fuss is about.

We started our morning with a quick soak in the Boiling River. We've been to Yellowstone plenty of times but that was our first time stopping by the Boiling River. The water temperature was perfect and the boys keep asking when we'll go back.

Bison herds on the way to Cooke City.

Beartooth Mountains & increasing elevation. Washington wildfires made it a little smoky.

Can you see the waterfall?

Beartooth Lake.

Bear crossing.

Island Lake pit stop.

Apparently they are doing the nae nae & apparently Arlo knows how to do it too. Kids.

Made it to the top.

That sliver of white behind us..snow & a terrifying drop off just beyond it.

Plague-carrying critters.

Red Lodge, MT. We stopped by their old-fashioned candy store before making our way back home. I'd consider living there if I could ever bring myself to leave Livingston.
