Around our home.

Last week we closed on our first home & I have been ecstatic & exhausted ever since. Thursday morning we drove over to the house for a final walk through. The kiddos & I got to stay while Tyson went to the title company to sign documents. When he got back there were lots of hugs & a few happy tears.

Our rental truck was reserved for Saturday so we filled our cars and made a few trips with the items we'd need right away.

Friday was back to normal for the big boys. Tyson went back to work & Pres went to school. I unpacked what I could, but I am pretty useless these days. That evening we went to Target & World Market to stock up on everything we needed. Poor bank account.

Saturday was moving day & my birthday. Tyson fulfilled my breakfast request of "a shit ton of diabetes-inducing cereal" & brought me balloons, cake, & flowers.

The rest of the day was spent moving & dealing with fussy children. I know we were all exhausted but their tantrums pissed me off so I cried & yelled more than once. Good grief. When we were done for the day we finished the night off with pizza & cake then went right to bed.

Now it's Tuesday & we are 99% moved. I'm still unpacking a few boxes & arranging furniture but overall it's coming together & feels like home.
