pine creek falls -- photo overload.

there are so many trails to hike in this area. & quite a few are only 1-2 miles (kid-friendly for us). we've tried going to at least one trail per weekend. i think my favorite so far has been the pine creek trailhead. the hike to the falls is just about a mile. you can continue on to the pine creek lake but that's an additional 4 miles each way. i'm not sure we're brave enough to put mason through that quite yet. but up to the falls was no problem. it was a shady & quiet trail, & probably one of the prettiest places i've been.
