mini home tour part two.

here are a few more pictures of our home. a couple more of our bedroom, the boys' room, & the kitchen. our living room is still a work-in-progress, but i'm happy to announce that we finally have furniture in it! the best part? we've spent a total of twenty six dollars for a couch, vintage coffee table with matching side table, & chair. best ever. they are all really cute & in great shape. however, we are painting them a little so they match our current style a bit more. we are nothing if not thrifty & resourceful. & our thrift store hobby (read: addiction) is really coming in handy these days. i'll be posting pictures of our latest additions as soon as tyson & i have finished painting them. =)

their bedroom is tiny. very tiny. we've kept it very minimal for that reason. i like it that way. 

closet / tv. moving their table & flat panel in the closet made a big difference. i like it. 

mason's bunk. i adore ikea's vandring series. 

presley's bunk. those posters don't bother me too much when they're up there. ;) tyson made him a little shelf for his clock. glad i married a handyman. 

kitchen.

not a fan of the green countertops & brown cabinets, but we're still renters so they'll have to do. 

i spend a lot of time here, so i've added all of my favorite vintage pieces. like those beautiful jars. 

diy terra cotta stand for the speakers (dinner-making music is a must). thrifted tray that i turned into a chalkboard. vintage butter dish & s/p shakers. red carnations from the boys. 

a window over the sink is a must when we buy a home. until then i have a pretty bird tray, a "home sweet home" embroidery, & mr. jimmy stewart to look at. to the right is the toast & coffee station.
