I thought we'd walk the two miles to Presley's school to pick him up. It started POURING when we got there.

New kitty. Her name is Scout. I had hinted that I might be okay with a cat..the next day Tyson found an ad for free kitties in Billings. We packed up the kids & drove there a few minutes later.

Tyson turned 28 last Thursday.Twenty-eight. He had to work & he's not big on birthdays so we didn't do too much. I broke our mostly vegan diet for the day by making some of his favorite foods. Plus we had cake & ice cream, of course. 

While we were waiting for him to get home from work the boys & I bought him a little gift of Rum & Coke, baked a cake, & made cards. We had everything waiting for him when he got home. We ate our dessert & then had dinner. Simple & sweet.
